Using a taxonomy element

You use a taxonomy element to display a list of categories from a taxonomy.

Creating a taxonomy component
You can only use a taxonomy element by creating a taxonomy component. You cannot add a taxonomy element to authoring templates, sites, site areas or content items.
Creating category selection trees
You use category selection trees to allow users to personalize menus.
