Creating a category for a taxonomy

You create categories when developing a taxonomy.

Note: At least one taxonomy must exist before creating a category.
To create a category, go to Applications > Content > web Content Management and then click New > Category.
  1. Category identification
    Specify identification information for the category, including the name, title and description of the category.
  2. Specify a location for the category
    When creating a category you can specify the location of the category.
  3. Category properties
    Specify properties for the category, including the list of authors and owners associated with the category.
  4. Granting category access
    Specify the access control settings for the category to determine which users have access to the category and their level of access.
