To create a site framework, you need to create site areas.
To create a site area, go to Applications > Content
> Web Content Management, click New > Site
Area, and then select an authoring template. The site
area form will then open.
Specifying a location for a site area
When you first create a site area, you are required to
specify the location of the item if the location has not been defined
in the authoring template.
Define additional site area properties
Specify additional properties for the site area,
including the list of authors and owners associated with the site
area.
Define site area access settings
Specify the access control settings for the site
area to determine which users have access to the site area and their
level of access.
